Honeypreet Insan interview: Honeypreet, who was absconding, has claimed she and Dera Sacha Sauda Chief Ram Rahim Singh are innocents, according to Aaj Tak and News24 reports. Rejecting that she and Ram Rahim had illicit relationship, Honeypreet appealed people to think twice before maligning a father-daughter relationship. Honeypreet said she had met advocate in Delhi and claimed she will go to Punjab and Haryana High Court in Chandigarh to follow the legal procedure. Reacting to the reports that she had fled the country, Honeypreet said she did not go to Nepal. She also broke down during the interview. Honeypreet has flayed her former husband Vishwas Gupta. Honeypreet emphasized that they will approach Supreme Court and Ram Rahim Singh will prove his innocence. She wondered how can she flee amid the high-level security during the verdict at the special CBI court in Panchkula, the reports say.
Earlier, on September 26, Haryana Police had conducted searches in Delhi to trace jailed Dera Sacha Sauda chief’s adopted daughter Honeypreet Insan against whom an arrest warrant has been issued in connection with incidents of violence following Gurmeet Ram Rahim’s conviction.
