AAP candidate list: As the talks for an alliance between the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) and Congress for the Haryana Assembly elections seems to have faltered, the AAP on Monday announced its first list of 20 candidates.

Among the big names featured in the first list are Anurag Dhandha from Kalayat, Vikas Nehra from Meham, Bijender Hooda from Rohtak and Dharamendar Khatana from Sohna.

Here’s the first AAP candidate list

  1. Naraingarh – Gurpal Singh
  2. Kalayat – Anurag Dhandha
  3. Pundri – Narendra Sharma
  4. Gharaunda – Jaipal Sharma
  5. Assandh – Amandeep Jundla
  6. Samalkha – Bittu Pahalwan
  7. Uchana Kalan – Pawan Fauji
  8. Dabwali – Kuldeep Gadrana
  9. Rania – Happy Rania
  10. Bhiwani – Indu Sharma
  11. Meham – Vikas Nehra
  12. Rohtak – Bijender Hooda
  13. Bahadurgarh – Kuldeep Chikara
  14. Badli – Ranbir Guliya
  15. Beri – Sonu Ahlawat Sheria
  16. Mahendragarh – Manish Yadav
  17. Narnaul – Ravinder Matru
  18. Badshahpur – Bir Singh Sarpanch
  19. Sohna – Dharamender Khatana
  20. Ballabgarh – Ravinder Faujdar

The list comes after the AAP Haryana unit chief Sushil Gupta, earlier in the day, said that if they don’t receive any news from the high command about the alliance formation during the day, then the party will release the list of candidates for all 90 seats in the Haryana Assembly.

Gupta also emphasised that the AAP is fully prepared to contest on all 90 seats in the polls as the alliance talks with Congress hit roadblocks.

The Congress on Sunday released its second list of nine candidates for the Haryana Assembly polls. With this list, the party has so far declared a total of 41 candidates for polls to the 90-member Assembly.

The last date for filing nominations for the Haryana Assembly election is September 12. The polling for the election is scheduled for October 5 in a single phase and the outcome will be declared on October 8.
