foodpanda.in, one of India’s largest online food-ordering platform has attributed a 100 per cent scholarship campaign to facilitate educational courses and promising careers, as part of its CSR activity, the campaign was targeted at benefitting 100 students across India. The scholarship was provided with the sole objective of helping students to pursue courses on twenty19.com, the online platform that enables students to gain meaningful knowledge and skills through experience. In response to which, foodpanda received numerous applications from 200 plus cities and more than 1000 plus colleges.
Rohit Chadda, co-founder and managing director, foodpanda said, “We believe it’s important for each and every one to contribute towards a brighter future for our country and its children and this is just another small step in that direction after our Food for Soul initiative that we started last year. Keeping in mind, our prime minister Narendra Modi’s ‘Beti Bachao, Beti Padhao’ campaign, we kept 40 per cent reservation for women students for the scholarship. foodpanda is committed to participating in the future of India’s business talent, and with our scholarship in partnership with twenty19, we would like to give them the opportunity to deepen their knowledge and skills further.”

Students from over 8000 plus colleges across India use twenty19.com for taking up courses or finding internships that boost their education. Also, 8000 plus companies use the platform to reach out to students of various colleges and offer internship opportunities to the selected students. Besides this, the platform also provides over 40 online courses that are pursued by scores of students all over the country.
