Two people were shot at during an argument in West Delhi’s Tilak Nagar market area on Friday night, police said.

The injured, Digvijay and Vikas, were rushed to Deen Dayal Upadhyay (DDU) Hospital.

According to the police, Digvijay and Vikas, along with a third person who was sitting in the back seat of a Mahindra Scorpio car, had an argument with a man standing by his motorcycle in the market. This man, accompanied by a woman, fired several gunshots at the car.

The third person in the car managed to escape the firing and remained unharmed.

Digvijay was wounded in his neck and thigh, while Vikas was injured in his underarm. The person on the motorcycle fled from the scene after firing the shots.

Probe is underway in the case to ascertain the motive behind the shooting and identify and apprehend the shooter and the woman.

Police said that the victims are not in a condition to give statements.

Both Digvijay and Vikas, who work as financiers, reside in Chander Vihar in West Delhi.
