As the Delhi elections draw closer, the political battle between AAP, Congress, and BJP has escalated. The BJP released a video showcasing the former residence of Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal, located at 6, Flagstaff Road, which the saffron party has dubbed as the “Sheesh Mahal.”
In a post on X, the Delhi BJP claimed, “Have you seen the inside of the Sheesh Mahal, worth crores of rupees, built using public tax money? Let us take you on a tour of the glass palace of debauchery of the great thug Arvind Kejriwal.”
Kejriwal vacated the bungalow in October 2023, which has since become the focus of controversy due to allegations of expensive fittings and luxurious items. The BJP has prominently featured the “Sheesh Mahal” accusation in its election campaign.
Earlier, Delhi BJP chief Virendra Sachdeva had alleged that valuable items, including a “golden commode,” were missing from the bungalow after Kejriwal moved out.
