After a purported video clip of Swati Maliwal allegedly at the Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal’s residence on the day of the assault emerged on social media, AAP dubbed it as the “truth of Maliwal”.

Reposting the video that has been shared by a news channel, a post from the official account of AAP on X, read, “This is Swati Maliwal’s truth.”

The post was also reposted by AAP MLA Dilip Pandy who alleged that the party’s Rajya Sabha MP was lying.

“Even the slightest light of the lamp of truth is enough to dispel the deepest darkness of Swati’s lies and arrogance. First, decide who is loyal. Then time will decide who is the traitor?” he wrote on X.

“Arvind Kejriwal, Zindabad. We will fight and win,” he added.

In the 52-second purported video, Maliwal is seen arguing with the security staff at the chief minister’s residence. She can be heard saying that she had called the police control room and would wait till the police personnel arrived. She further warns the security personnel that she will get him terminated if he even touches her.

She can also be heard screaming, apparently at Bibhav Kumar, long-standing aide of Kejriwal and accused in the case, referring to him as a “s***a bald man”.

Maliwal alleged that she was Kumar at the chief minister’s official residence on Monday. The Delhi Police registered an FIR in the matter on Thursday and named Kumar as an accused.

Meanwhile, after the video surfaced online, in a post on X, Maliwal wrote on Friday without naming anyone, “Like every time, this time also this political hitman has started making efforts to save himself,.”

“By getting his people to tweet and share videos without any context, he thinks he can save himself by committing this crime. Who makes a video of someone being thrashed? The truth will be revealed to everyone as soon as the CCTV footage of the house and the room is examined,” she said.
