Maharashtra Chief Minister, Devendra Fadnavis announced his plans to construct a “grand” memorial for Chatrapati Shivaji in Agra in late February. As the Maharashtra Budget was tabled today, March 10, it allocated nearly Rs 50 crore to build the memorial. There will be a magnificent monument of Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj. I will speak to Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath myself…,” Fadnavis was quoted as saying by ANI during the event last month.
