Earthquake of 4.2 magnitude jolts Myanmar

An earthquake of magnitude 4.2 on the Richter Scale jolted Myanmar on Monday, the National Center for Seismology (NCS) said. The earthquake occurred at 7:59 pm on Monday. According to NCS, the depth of earthquake was registered at 120 Kilometers.

Over 30 lakh audit reports filed on Income Tax Department portal

Over 30 lakh audit reports (TAR) were filed till September 30 on the e-filing portal of the Income Tax Department, the tax authority said on Monday. The Income-tax Department through the release appreciated taxpayers and tax professionals for making compliances on time. Those who were to get their books audited were supposed to submit the tax audit report on or before September 30 of the relevant assessment year.

Earthquake of magnitude 5.2 hits Meghalaya’s North Garo Hills

An earthquake of magnitude 5.2 struck Meghalaya’s North Garo Hills district on Monday evening, according to the National Center for Seismology. The tremors were felt around 6.15 pm and the quake’s depth was at 10 km, it said.

The Directorate General of Civil Aviation (DGCA) has come up with the draft because perfumes generally have a high alcohol content and can affect the breathalyzer test.

Foreign national arrested at Mumbai airport with Gold worth over Rs 1.6 crore

Lightning in Jharkhand killed 8 people
