SC to pronounce verdict on Monday on pleas challenging abrogation of Article 370
The Supreme Court is expected to rule on a batch of petitions challenging the repeal of Article 370 provisions on Monday. In 2019, the Constitution bench heard petitions challenging the repeal of Article 370 and the constitutionality of the Jammu and Kashmir Reorganisation Act, 2019, which divided the former state into the Union territories of Jammu and Kashmir and Ladakh. The hearings in the case had begun on August 2.
Sikhs take out protest march in Delhi for release of ‘Bandi Singhs’

Jordan’s foreign minister Ayman Safadi said on Sunday Israel was implementing a systematic policy of pushing Palestinians out of Gaza by a war that has killed thousands of civilians. 6 dead, nearly 2 dozen injured after severe storms in central Tennessee
Severe storms that tore through central Tennessee killed six people Saturday and sent about two dozen to the hospital as homes and businesses were damaged in multiple cities. Indian Army organises ‘Army Veterans Honour Run’ in Delhi
The Indian Army organised the ‘Army Veterans Honour Run’ on Sunday at Jawaharlal Nehru Stadium, New Delhi. The Honour Run – Indian Army Veterans Half Marathon (IAVHM) is a 21.1 km race. The race honours the valour of Indian Army veterans, soldiers who were disabled in service, and the next of kin of soldiers who lost their lives in the line of duty. The race was organized by the Directorate of Indian Army Veterans (DIAV).
