The Mumbai Metropolitan Region Development Authority (MMRDA) is actively seeking a project management consultancy for the operations and maintenance of the upcoming Mumbai Trans Harbour Sealink (MTHL) for a duration of two years, as officially announced.

MMRDA Initiates Search for Experienced Agency

In its pursuit of efficient operations, the MMRDA has initiated a tender process, inviting experienced agencies to bid for the crucial role of project management consultancy for the MTHL. Interested and eligible bidders have until January 5 to submit their proposals, with the bid opening scheduled for the following day.

Project Milestone: Over 97% Completion of Mumbai Trans Harbour Sealink

As the MTHL project progresses toward completion, it reaches a significant milestone with over 97% of the work already accomplished. The 21.8-km six-lane access-controlled bridge, spanning from Sewri in Mumbai to Chirle in Navi Mumbai, is poised to become a vital transportation link.

Key Features of the MTHL Infrastructure

The MTHL project features three strategically located interchanges, enhancing connectivity and accessibility. These interchanges are situated at Sewri in South Mumbai, Shivaji Nagar in Ulwe, and Chirle, each contributing to a seamless transportation network connecting Mumbai and Navi Mumbai.

Countdown to Connectivity: Anticipating Reduced Travel Time

With the impending completion and opening of the sealink to the public, the MTHL project promises to significantly reduce travel time, fostering closer ties between Mumbai and Navi Mumbai.
