The commuters in Noida and Greater Noida might face some traffic diversions today as the Dalit Prerna Sthal in Sector 95 will host the ‘Parinirvan Diwas’ of Dalit icon and founder of Bahujan Samaj Party (BSP) Kanshi Ram, The Indian Express reported.
Traffic Diversions: Preferable routes to take today
As a large number of people are expected to attend the event, the Noida Traffic Police said on Sunday that in case of congestion near Dalit Prerna Sthal, the vehicles coming in from Greater Noida towards Noida on the Noida-Greater Noida Expressway will be diverted from Mahamaya Flyover towards Sector 37. They added that the commuters will be able to reach their destination from Sector 37 via Atta Chowk, Rajnigandha Chowk and Sector 15 Golchakkar Chowk.
If congestion is seen at gate number 4 of Dalit Prerna Sthal, the traffic will be diverted from the Film City flyover towards Sector 18. Additionally, commuters on their way to Greater Noida from Noida will see diversion from the Sector 14A flyover towards the Sector 15 roundabout.
The people attending the event at the Dalit Prerana Sthal will have suitable parking arrangements, as per the officials. They added that the passenger buses coming for the event will be parked on the left side of the road near DND toll. Meanwhile, light vehicles coming in from Delhi will be parked at the multi-level parking inside Film City.
