A dense fog blanketed Delhi on Sunday morning, causing significant disruptions to flight and train services in the city. The capital also experienced cold waves, with temperatures dipping early in the day. At New Delhi railway station, several trains were delayed due to the fog. 

Notable delays affected trains such as the Howrah-New Delhi Duronto Express, Mahabodhi Express, Lucknow Mail, and Kathgodam Express, as they arrived in the city amid the adverse weather conditions.

The India Meteorological Department reported that Delhi’s temperature was 10 degrees Celsius at 5:30 am on Sunday. Dense fog reduced visibility to zero in various parts of the city. 

Meanwhile, the air quality in Delhi remained in the ‘very poor’ category, with the AQI recorded at 377 at 6 am, slightly down from 385 at the same time the previous day, according to the Central Pollution Control Board.
