The Western Railways has released a notification to inform the hold of Jumbo Block on Up and Down slow lines from 10.00 hrs to 15.00 hrs between Borivali and Goregaon stations on Sunday, April 21, 2024. The five-hour-long hold was scheduled for maintenance of the track, signalling and overhead equipment.

During the block period, as stated in a press release by Shri Sumit Thakur, Chief Public Relations Officer of Western Railway, all slow-line trains in both Up and Down directions will be diverted to the fast lines between Borivali and Goregaon.

Due to the scheduled block, a number of up and down suburban services will be suspended. Furthermore, specific trains originating from Andheri and Borivali will be rerouted to the Harbor Line, terminating at Goregaon.

Alternative options for passengers  

Additionally, platforms 01, 02, 03, and 04 at Borivali station will remain inactive throughout the duration of the block. For passengers travelling through these mediums can get detailed information regarding these adjustments from the respective station masters.

Passengers are encouraged to consult the Station Master’s office for a comprehensive list of cancelled trains. It is imperative for travelers to be mindful of these alterations prior to embarking on their journey.
