In a significant development for the Mumbai-Ahmedabad Bullet Train project, the bridge over the Kolak River in Valsad district, Gujarat, has been completed. This achievement marks a crucial step forward in the construction of India’s first high-speed rail corridor.

Structure: Consists of 4 Full Span Girders, each 40 meters long
Piers Height: Ranges from 14 meters to 23 meters
Pier Dimensions: Circular piers with 4 meters (2 Nos.) and 5 meters (3 Nos.) diameter
Located between Vapi and Bilimora Bullet Train stations, the Kolak River bridge is a vital link in the high-speed rail network. The river originates from the Saputara hills near Valveri and flows into the Arabian Sea. This bridge is positioned 7 kilometers from the Vapi station and 43 kilometers from the Bilimora station. Alongside the Kolak River bridge, bridges over the Auranga and Par Rivers between these two stations have also been completed.
