The Indian Railways on Friday (November 24) announced significant disruptions in train services, including cancellations, diversions, and delays, due to maintenance work scheduled at the Palwal-Mathura station.
The affected trains primarily pass through the Mathura Junction railway station in Uttar Pradesh and the Palwal-Mathura section. The maintenance activities are set to take place from November 27, 2023 to March 21, 2024.
This development will particularly impact services of popular trains connecting Kerala and New Delhi, such as the Kerala Express. The Indian Railways specified that certain trains will be canceled, while others will be rerouted through alternative routes.
Additionally, passengers should anticipate delays ranging from 40 minutes to one hour, as informed by the Railways.
