The redevelopment of Marwar Bhinmal Railway Station in Rajasthan is progressing well under the Amrit Bharat Station Scheme, with 85% of the work completed. The Ministry of Railways shared this update on its Twitter handle, highlighting the various enhancements being made to improve passenger experience.

New Waiting Hall and Circulating Area

The project includes the construction of a new waiting hall and the development of a more accessible circulating area. Additionally, better parking facilities for vehicles are being established to accommodate the growing number of passengers. By providing designated parking spaces, the station aims to minimize traffic congestion and enhance safety.

The inclusion of disabled-friendly facilities ensures that the station is accessible to all passengers, regardless of their physical abilities. This may include ramps, elevators, and specially designed restrooms, as well as reserved seating in the waiting hall. Providing these facilities reflects a commitment to inclusivity and aims to create a welcoming environment for passengers with disabilities. These initiatives reflect the commitment of Indian Railways to enhance the overall travel experience while promoting accessibility for all passengers.

With the aim of making Indian railway stations world-class, the Amrit Bharat Station Scheme continues to pave the way for significant improvements across the network.
