The Delhi Metro Rail Corporation has announced that it will be carrying out a planned maintenance work at Vishwavidyalaya Metro station on Yellow Line. Due to this, on October 6, the train services on the Yellow Line will be briefly regulated in the early morning till 6.40 am.

The DMRC has revealed a plan for running metro trains on the Yellow Line on October 6.

As per the plan, the first train service on Sunday, October 6, will commence at 6:45 am instead of the usual 06:00 am from Vishwavidyalaya to Millennium City Centre Gurugram and at 06:52 am  instead of 06:00 am from Kashmere Gate to Samaypur Badli.

No train services will be available between Vishwavidyalaya to Kashmere Gate Metro stations and vice versa. Vidhan Sabha and Civil Lines stations will be closed till services resume after 06:40 am. The service on the remaining major section of the Yellow Line (from Millennium City Centre Gurugram to Kashmere Gate and Samaypur Badli to Vishwavidyalaya stations) will continue to function.

During the maintenance work, train services will operate at a 10-minute interval. Afterward, the regular Sunday schedule will be in effect for the remainder of the day.

To minimise inconvenience to passengers during the early morning hours of October 6th, announcements will be made at stations and inside trains on the Yellow Line, providing information about train destinations and the respective platforms for transfers during the maintenance period.
