In view of the upcoming Delhi Assembly Election on Wednesday (February 5) and the vote counting day on Saturday (February 8), Delhi Metro is all set to commence its operations from 4 am onwards from their terminal stations to ensure smooth travel for election staff and officials.

“On the day of Assembly Election in Delhi on 5th February 2025 (Wednesday) and vote counting Day on 8th February, 2025 (Saturday), Delhi Metro train services on all Lines will start from their terminal stations at 04:00 AM so that the staff deployed for election duty can avail the facility,” DMRC said in a statement.

According to the statement issued by DMRC, Metro services will operate with a frequency of 30 minutes until 6:00 am on both days, and from 6:00 am onwards, regular Metro services will resume as usual, ensuring convenient travel for the general public throughout the day.

“In addition, to facilitate the polling officials/staff returning late after election duty, the last metro services on all lines will be also extended on the intervening night of 5th/6th February 2025. The linewise last train timings as extended for the day are mentioned in the table attached below,” the statement added.
