The gates of the garden were opened on February 2 and will remain open for the public till March 31, 2024, excluding Mondays, which is designated for maintenance.

Amrit Udyan is conveniently accessible by metro, making it an ideal destination for a day trip. The nearest metro station is Udyog Bhawan on the Blue Line, approximately 16.4 km away. The journey takes about 53 minutes if you are travelling from Noida.

DMRC’s free shuttle service to Amrit Udyan from nearest metro stations

The Delhi Metro Rail Corporation (DMRC) announced on Friday that it will offer a complimentary shuttle service from the Central Secretariat and Shivaji Stadium metro stations to Amrit Udyan at Rashtrapati Bhawan.

In a social media post, the DMRC stated, “#AmritUdyan at Rashtrapati Bhawan is set to attract tourists from 2 Feb – 31 March 2024. Let’s explore with #DelhiMetro! Nearest Metro Stations – Central Secretariat & Shivaji Stadium, Free shuttle service is also available from Gate No. 4 of Central Secretariat Metro Station.”

Special rose varieties such as ‘Double Delight,’ ‘Sentimental,’ and ‘Krishna’ will be on display. Notable highlights include a 225-year-old Sheesham tree and a unique ‘Amrit Udyan’ signature-style logo, serving as a selfie point for visitors.
