As the July earnings season picks up pace, several heavyweight companies across sectors — from IndusInd Bank, which is facing a governance overhaul, to food delivery giant Swiggy, which is set to announce its first Q1 results after listing, and Asian Paints, among others — are set to announce their first-quarter results this week. From banking and pharmaceuticals to energy and consumer goods, investors will be closely tracking key financial disclosures from Nifty 50 constituents, PSUs, and newly listed firms.
Here are the key earnings announcements to watch this week.
July 28: Focus on Indusind Bank, Adani Green, Torrent Pharma, PSUs like GAIL, BEL, among others
IndusInd Bank is set to announce its Q1 results on Monday. Investors will be closely watching the stock’s performance in the first quarter, as the bank has been undergoing a governance overhaul. It is currently led by an executive committee while it finalizes the appointment of a new CEO, following the resignation of CEO Sumant Kathpalia and Deputy CEO Arun Khurana over an accounting scandal involving misvalued derivative trades.
To address the accounting lapse, the bank recently announced a Rs 30,000 crore capital raise to cover a $230 million shortfall.
After two Adani Group companies — Adani Energy Solutions and ACC — announced their Q1 earnings last week, Adani Green Energy is set to announce its first-quarter results on Monday.
A Maharatna PSU under the Ministry of Petroleum & Natural Gas, GAIL (India), and defence PSU major Bharat Electronics (BEL) will announce their Q1 results on Monday.
Torrent Pharmaceuticals is also scheduled to release its Q1 FY26 earnings, following mixed results from its peers Cipla and Dr. Reddy’s Laboratories in the previous weeks.
Other key earnings to watch on Monday include KEC International and NTPC Green Energy, a subsidiary of NTPC, which is a Nifty 50 PSU.
July 29: Asian Paints, L&T among key earnings to watch
Nifty 50 companies Asian Paints, one of the largest paint manufacturers in India, and Larsen & Toubro, an engineering and infrastructure conglomerate, will announce their Q1 results on Tuesday.
NTPC, India’s largest power utility, will also release its Q1 results on the same day. Other earnings to watch out for include Jubilant Pharmova, Bank of India, among others.
July 30: Tata Steel, banks, IT, and aviation in focus on Wednesday
Tata Steel, one of India’s largest steel producers under the Tata Group, will announce its first-quarter results on Wednesday.
Nifty 50 constituent Punjab National Bank and Power Grid Corporation of India, a PSU company, will also release its Q1 results on the same day.
Other major earnings to look forward to include Sonata Software, a mid-cap IT services company; KPIT Technologies, prominent in auto-tech and engineering services; and InterGlobe Aviation, India’s largest airline operator.
July 31: Swiggy’s debut results, auto majors, and FMCG giants in spotlight on Thursday
Swiggy, the food delivery giant, is set to report its first quarterly results since its market debut. All eyes will be on Swiggy after its rival Zomato reported a sharp 90 per cent year-on-year drop in consolidated net profit (PAT) to Rs 25 crore.
FMCG majors Hindustan Unilever and Dabur India will announce their Q1 results.
Auto majors Mahindra & Mahindra, Maruti Suzuki, TVS Motor Company, and Eicher Motors are also scheduled to release their earnings on Thursday. Investors will be keen to assess the impact of rare earth supply disruptions from China.
Other major earnings to watch out for include Nifty 50 constituent Sun Pharmaceutical Industries, Ambuja Cements, and F&O segment companies like Coal India, among others.
Aug 1: ITC, Tata Power, and UPL to wrap up the week’s key earnings
Three Nifty 50 companies — ITC, the FMCG and cigarettes giant; Tata Power; and UPL, an agrochemical company — will release their Q1 earnings on the last market day of the week.
Other earnings to watch out for include Godrej Properties, Delhivery, LIC Housing Finance, and Adani Group stock Adani Power.
