Servotech Renewable Power System has secured a 7.8 MW grid-connected solar rooftop project from the Northeast Frontier Railway. The project will be executed in the Rangiya Division and is valued at Rs 336 million.

The project is expected to significantly support the Northeast Frontier Railway’s push for sustainable energy. The rooftop solar installations will help reduce the railway’s carbon footprint and improve energy efficiency across its infrastructure.

Project includes 5-year AMC for several buildings

Along with installation, the order also includes a five-year Annual Maintenance Contract (AMC) and Comprehensive Annual Maintenance Contract (CAMC) for several buildings under the Rangiya Division. This move ensures continued support and performance monitoring of the installed solar systems.

Sarika Bhatia, Director of Servotech Renewable Power System, expressed her pride in winning the project. “Our comprehensive AMC/CAMC will also ensure the long-term efficiency and performance of the solar installations,” she said.

Servotech stock rallies after project win

Servotech share price a significant surge in its stock price following the announcement. It has risen 14% intra-day. 

On June 3 as well the company’s shares closed at Rs. 148, marking a 19.4 per cent intra-gain from the previous day’s close of Rs. 123.34. The stock opened at Rs 124.00 and reached an intraday high of Rs 148.00, with a trading volume of approximately 10.9 million shares.
