Amazon India on Friday announced the expansion of Project Udaan by extending its partnership with the logistics service provider Connect India.

The partnership will see Connect India Centres (CICs), which earlier functioned as rural distribution centres for Amazon, also act as assisted shopping points for customers.

With this, the company’s operations are extended to 11 States in the country. The service is initially available in Punjab and will soon be extended to other locations across the country, Amazon said in a statement.
