The Adani Group has restructured the top management of its infrastructure companies, including appointing Bimal Dayal as CEO of Adani Infrastructure India (AIIL).

Further, Kandarp Patel, now a director with Adani Electricity Mumbai (AEML), has been given charge of all verticals of Adani Energy Solutions (AESL). Previously, Dayal was the CEO of AESL.

In his new role, Dayal will oversee the implementation of infrastructure projects across thermal, renewable energy and green hydrogen. Anil Sardana would continue as MD of AESL.

The changes are to strengthen the infrastructure business and grow it at more than 15% per annum, the group said in a statement.

AESL is the country’s largest private transmission company, with a presence across 14 states and a cumulative transmission network of 20,000 circuit km and 53,000 megavolt-ampere transformation capacity.

The Adani Group’s infrastructure companies had earlier announced investment of more than `7 trillion over the next decade to consolidate its position as the largest infrastructure player in India.
