Tummoc, a mobile-based app platform for daily local travel has recently partnered with RedBus, one of the world’s largest online bus ticketing platform, with an aim to streamline end-to-end outstation transportation.
The collaboration will enable the existing over 3 million users of Tummoc to go beyond meeting their intra-city transportation needs. Within the Tummoc app, users will now be avail services including – effortless access to intercity bus ticket bookings and Tummoc’s first- and last-mile connectivity solutions, available through auto, abs, and bike taxis over more than 21 cities in India.
As per a report in June 2022 titled “Intercity Travel Mobility Market in India” by PGA Labs, India outstation market by value stood at $66 billion with 30.1 billion outstation commute passenger trips per annum in FY2020; out of which 50% used buses. The outstation bus market was at $30 billion in FY2020 and is expected to grow @ 9.8% CAGR from FY2020-25. This partnership will help Tummoc to offer a one-stop end-to-end transportation solutions provider for its growing user base.
