Kinetic Green partners with Reliance Group’s JioThings for advanced software platform

As a part of this collaboration, this digital display platform has been unveiled for a user-friendly experience for riders on Kinetic Green’s E2W models.

Kinetic Green announced a technical partnership with JioThings, a subsidiary of Jio Platforms and part of the Reliance Group. This partnership aims to enhance connectivity and user experience for Kinetic Green’s electric vehicle models.

What does the partnership offer?

The TFT-based software platform in partnership with Kinetic Green and JioThings offers advanced display features such as real-time navigation, notifications for incoming calls, and information on nearby charging stations for efficient and comfortable rides, either in city streets or long trips. 

In addition,there will be built-in Bluetooth and telematics-enabled devices that ensure seamless connectivity, allowing users to monitor and manage essential vehicle functions effortlessly through their smartphones. Riders can access information on navigation, speed, battery charge status, and distance to empty, enhancing user-friendly experience. The solution uses Jio’s advanced hardware and reliable 4G connectivity.

Kinetic Green has this year launched a limited edition of the Safar Smart passenger vehicle, available in both lead acid and lithium battery variants, for customers who require dual functionality, offering space for both passengers and cargo. It also includes features such as new music system, floor mats, and wheel caps for an additional Rs 5,000 more than the standard model.

The company, after the launch of e-Luna, is also set to launch electric scooters in 18 months as a very good alternative to ICE scooters, and an electric L5 passenger three-wheeler and golf cars, designed in partnership with Lamborghini, in less than a year. 

Kinetic Green, led by Sulajja Firodia Motwani, produces a variety of electric 3-wheelers and 2-wheelers at a facility near Pune, Maharashtra, to promote green mobility solutions for both India and global markets. For electric golf carts and buggies, the company has formed a Joint Venture with the world’s leading luxury brand, Tonino Lamborghini of Italy.
