Euler Motors, an electric vehicle company has announced the appointment of Anal Vijay Singh as VP Manufacturing & Plant Head, to lead its facility in Palwal, Haryana.
He brings 35 years of experience as the Plant Head at Pantnagar Works, Tata Motors, leading large-scale production and supply chain operations for the Small Commercial Vehicle (SCV) segment.
The electric vehicle company says it ranked third in three-wheeler commercial EV sales over the last quarter of CY 2023 which saw aggressive demand owing to the festive season.
In his new role, Singh will orchestrate seamless tech integration, manufacturing, and supply chain processes to enable the plant to reach its 35,000-unit annual capacity as planned. He will ensure delivery of tasks like meeting plant deliverables, facility planning and cost optimisation.
In addition, he will also be responsible for quality planning and driving manufacturing excellence across the value chain. Singh’s leadership will extend beyond the traditional responsibilities, incorporating principles of lean manufacturing, total quality management (TQM) and safety, quality, productivity, delivery, cost, morale, and environment (SQPDCME) to foster a state-of-the-art facility. In his previous stint, Singh is credited for attaining significant milestones, including the establishment of the manufacturing facility for Tata’s flagship SCV platform, Tata Intra, and the successful launch of various BS6 small commercial vehicles and India’s first electric SCV, Ace EV.
