ContiTech India’s surface solution head bets on new business areas to drive growth

It was in October, that German technology company Continental announced the appointment of Christopher Marsh to take charge as the head of the Surface Solutions business and the Pune plant in India.

The company invested around 20 million euros (Rs 200 crore) towards setting up its first manufacturing facility for surface solutions in India in 2018, which was inaugurated in 2022. In the last one year, the company in addition to adding new customers has also focused heavily on localisation and reducing carbon footprint by introducing environmental friendly surface solution products for customers.
