Bajaj Auto’s CNG-powered motorcycle is ready for launch in June, managing director and CEO Rajiv Bajaj said in Pune on Friday.

Citing the difficulty in fitting a CNG cylinder on a motorcycle, Bajaj credited Bajaj Auto CTO Abraham Joseph with successfully designing and developing the bike.
Bajaj is optimistic about the prospects of the CNG motorcycle, and said it would halve customers’ fuel costs. He said the government has done a good job of expanding CNG infrastructure and pipeline across the country.
