Check Point® Software Technologies Ltd. (NASDAQ: CHKP), an AI-powered, cloud-delivered cybersecurity platform provider, has announced the launch of Check Point Quantum Spark 1900 and 2000, the latest additions to its firewall series for small and medium business (SMBs).

According to an official release, these security gateways are engineered to protect SMBs from cyber threats. From what it’s understood, the Quantum Spark security gateways offer network security at scale with zero-touch provisioning, cloud management, and threat management capabilities, to make them ideal for medium-sized businesses. It’s believed that the gateways allow supporting businesses ranging from one all the way to 1,000 employees. They are believed to provide SMBs with a combination of AI-powered threat prevention, management, and scalability. The introduction of these new products aims to empower SMBs to protect their operations.

Reportedly, Quantum Spark™ Gateway 1900 and 2000 users benefit from AI/ML powered security gateways for defence against cyber threats such as phishing, malware, DNS, and IoT attacks. They can integrate cloud security services and network connectivity, which involves providing security software with reliability, user experience, and capabilities such as IoT security, SD-WAN, among others, and provide cloud management capabilities for MSPs, now featuring a network operational view that enables automation of threat management for customers.

“At Check Point, our Quantum Spark firewalls are designed to safeguard data and systems against cyber-attacks. These gateways not only promise expansion in user numbers, transaction volumes, and data but should also aid in reducing costs while supporting remote workforces, encouraging cloud adoption, and enabling digital transformation,” Shahar Divon, global head of MSSP and SMB, Check Point Software Technologies, emphasised.
