ideaForge Technology Limited, has announced that its latest unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV), the Q6 V2, has received type certification from the Directorate General of Civil Aviation (DGCA). This achievement marks a significant milestone for the company, reinforcing its commitment to delivering top-tier UAV solutions.

The Q6 V2 is an advanced version of the well-regarded Q6 drone, recognized for its exceptional performance and versatility across various sectors, including Defence, Civil, and Enterprise. The Q6 V2 is equipped with a range of advanced payload capabilities, such as daylight and thermal surveillance cameras, a 24.3 MP photogrammetry camera, and a 16 MP multispectral 4-band camera. The drone offers a maximum flight endurance of 72 minutes and a range of 2.0 kilometers for visual line of sight (VLOS), with radio line-of-sight capability extending up to 10 kilometers.
