This summit, structured into 10 sessions, will bring leaders together to deliberate on critical issues. The overarching theme for the Inaugural Leaders’ Session is “Together, for Everyone’s Growth, with Everyone’s Trust,” emphasizing collaborative progress. The Concluding Leaders’ Session, themed “Global South: Together for One Future,” encapsulates the collective aspirations for a cohesive and progressive world order.
During eight Ministerial Sessions, the summit will delve into focused discussions. Topics include “India & the Global South: Emerging Together for a Better Future” for Foreign Ministers, “Making Human Resources Future Ready” for Education Ministers, and “Financing People-Centric Development” for Finance Ministers. Additionally, the summit will explore issues such as sustainable solutions for climate resilience, global development, energy transition, one health, and resilient supply chains.
The 2nd VOGSS aims to sustain the momentum generated during India’s G20 Presidency, propelling the shared vision of a more inclusive and representative global community. By providing a structured platform for dialogue, this summit seeks to contribute meaningfully to the ongoing discourse on pressing global issues, fostering collaboration among nations of the Global South.
