The Electronics and Computer Software Export Promotion Council (ESC) of India is poised to lead a ground-breaking delegation to Brazil and Paraguay from March 3 – 9, 2024.

“This initiative is supported by the Embassy of India in Brazil and the Consulate General of India in Sao Paulo. Similarly, in Paraguay, the Embassy of India, Asuncion, will take the lead and seek to foster strategic partnerships and business collaborations in the high-tech sector,” explained ESC Chairman Sandeep Narula.

What is the focus?

According to Chairman Narula, “With a focus on cutting-edge electronics products and technology services, the delegation represents a diverse array of industries, including electronics, solar energy, renewables, power backup, LED lighting manufacturing, audio systems, IoT devices, security printing, consumer electronics, computer hardware, telecommunications, and Information Technology Services etc. The visit aims to showcase India’s prowess in these sectors while exploring opportunities for synergies and mutual growth.”

“The eagerly anticipated event in Sao Paulo is set to take place on March 4th, 2024, featuring esteemed guests Suresh K Reddy, Ambassador of India to Brasilia, Brazil, and Ms Manisha Swami, Consul General of India in Sao Paulo. Both dignitaries will grace the Inaugural Session with their presence, offering invaluable insights on the burgeoning tech opportunities for Indian companies in this pivotal market,” said Gurmeet Singh, ESC Executive Director.

Agenda in Paraguay

Adding, “In Paraguay, Yogeshwar Sangwan, Ambassador of India to Asuncion, will lead the charge, sharing his perspectives during the B2B session scheduled for March 7th, 2024. Several members of prominent Electronics and IT organizations will engage in matchmaking with the visiting delegation, fostering collaborative endeavors and partnerships.”
“Key associations in Brazil and Paraguay, including the India-Brazil Chamber of Commerce, Information and Communications Technology Employers’ Union of the State of Goiás, Federation of Commerce, Services and Tourism of the State of Goiás (Fecomércio-GO), InvestSP, ABERIMEST – Brazilian Association of Business and Telecommunications Professionals, CECIEX – Brazilian Business Council of Commercial Importers & Exporters, and Sao Paulo Chamber of Commerce, the Chamber of the Software Industry and REDIEX will provide invaluable insights into market opportunities, collaboration prospects in the technology sector for the ESC delegation and are actively supporting this initiative,” said Narula.

About the Delegation

The 15-member delegation will be led by Rajesh M Revankar, Regional Chairman – Electronics and Computer Software Export Promotion Council (ESC). “ESC India is the apex trade promotion organization, facilitating global outreach for the country’s electronics and software industries. With a focus on enhancing exports and fostering international collaborations, ESC plays a pivotal role in driving India’s technological advancement in Electronics and IT sectors on the global stage,” added Narula.
