Vistara will officially stop operations on November 12, 2024, following its merger with Tata Group’s Air India. The announcement in August revealed that passengers will be redirected to Air India’s website for bookings, and Vistara flights will continue under the ‘Vistara’ brand until November 11.

Last month, Singapore Airlines (SIA) confirmed it had received Indian government approval for Foreign Direct Investment (FDI) as part of the merger, securing a 25.1% stake in the merged entity, previously a state-run carrier.

As part of the merger process, Vistara’s frequent flyer program, Club Vistara, will be integrated into Air India’s Flying Returns program. Club Vistara will remain functional until the integration is complete.

Steps to Link Club Vistara and Flying Returns Accounts:

  1. Log in to your Club Vistara account on the official website.
  2. In the “My Account” section, select “Link Accounts.”
  3. Enter your 9-digit Flying Returns Membership ID and submit.
  4. If your personal details match in both accounts, they will be linked.
  5. If not, or if you don’t have a Flying Returns account, a new one will be created. Club Vistara points, tier points, and vouchers will be transferred.
  6. Multiple Flying Returns accounts can be merged into one for streamlined rewards management.

Flyers must note that the Club Vistara points will convert to Flying Returns points at a 1:1 ratio, enabling you to use them for Air India flights. Additionally, Club Vistara tiers (Base, Silver, Gold, Platinum) will align with Flying Returns tiers (Red, Silver, Gold, Platinum). Members may also be upgraded based on their cumulative points.

Any bookings made with Club Vistara points, as well as upgrade vouchers and complimentary tickets, will transfer to your Flying Returns account.
