A 24-year-old Indian woman traveling from Melbourne to New Delhi aboard a Qantas flight tragically passed away on after experiencing a medical emergency while the aircraft was still on the ground, according to a PTI report.

Manpreet Kaur, who was an aspiring chef, got on the flight on June 20 despite not feeling well hours before reaching the airport. However, she somehow managed to board the flight without any issues evident. According to her friend, she was going to visit India to meet her parents for the very first time in four years since she shifted to Australia for her studies.

”When Kaur boarded the flight, she was finding it difficult to fasten her seat belt,” Gurdip Grewal said to the Herald Sun newspaper. ”Just before her flight started, she fell in front of her seat and passed away on the spot,” Grewal added.

As the plane was in a stationary position at the Melbourne airport when the incident happened, medical assistance was immediately taken care of by the emergency services and the cabin crew.

Who was Manpreet Kaur?

Kaur’s roommate Kuldeep mentioned that she used to work at Australia Post along with pursuing cookery. She had a desire to become a chef one day. ”She was kind and truthful,” Kuldeep stated to the media. ”She enjoyed traveling to Victoria along with her friends”.
