The flight disruptions at the Delhi Airport continue to affect a number of passengers’ travel plans. If it’s not the fog, the flights are facing disruptions due to congestion at the airport.
How many flights have been delayed/cancelled today?
At the time of writing this report, the data from FlightRadar24 showed an average delay of 65 minutes in departures at the airport. The disruption index for departures was at 5, which indicates major problems.
Among the flights delayed are the ones going to Varanasi, Gwalior, Patna, Kanpur, Shirdi, and Srinagar. The delayed departures percentage currently stands at 86%. A total of 128 flights have been delayed today.
However, the arrivals are seeing a lesser delay. The average delay in arrivals at the airport is 5 minutes, with a disruption index at 1.3. A total of 43 flights have been delayed.
Among the flights delayed are the ones coming in from Bangkok, Kathmandu, Ahmedabad, Bhopal, Mumbai, Paris, London, while the 11:20 am Vistara flight from Amritsar has been cancelled. As per FlightRadar24’s data, two flights have been cancelled.
Yesterday, the arrival of 102 flights were delayed, while on the departure side 353 were delayed.
