The Delhi airport on Tuesday issued a traffic advisory to passengers, due to the ongoing ‘Delhi Chalo’ march at the borders of the national capital.
The Airport advised commuters to use the Delhi Metro due to the anticipated farmers’ protest at different Delhi borders starting today.
“To ensure timely arrival, we strongly encourage travelers to utilize the Magenta Line for Terminal 1 (T1) or the airport metro for Terminal 3 (3) for convenient transportation options,” the Delhi Airport mentioned on X.
It added, “We recommend planning your trip accordingly and staying informed about potential delays and alternative routes.”
Further, traffic diversions are put in place for commercial vehicles. Meanwhile, passengers faced traffic gridlock as vehicles got stuck at various borders of the national capital including Ghazipur and the Delhi-Noida Chilla border because of the farmer’s protest.
