Delhi Airport issues advisory amid poor visibility

Earlier today the Delhi airport issued a passenger advisory due to the impact of thick fog on operations at Indira Gandhi International Airport. Passengers were asked to contact their respective airlines for updated flight information.

To deal with the foggy conditions, the authorities activated the CAT-III Instrument Landing System (ILS), facilitating precision approaches and landings in low runway visibility. Similarly, dense fog affected flight operations at Rajiv Gandhi International Airport in Hyderabad.
