Xerox India Ltd has started offering consultancy and services to corporates in the area of document management in eastern region, according to Ravi Venkatraman, director, Xerox Global Services (XGS) of Xerox India.
Venkatraman said XGS would address the critical document requirement process of BFSI, telecom, manufacturing and e-governance in the eastern India market.
In India, XGS group has 400 people with 70 customer bases. Worldwide, the group contributed around 30% of the Xerox’s revenue of $17.6 billion during the last fiscal.
Xerox would offer services to corporates, which have more than 2000 employees, said Venkatraman. The pay per usage outsourced business model of Xerox would do good business in the region, Venkatraman said. “In West Bengal, with over 175 global players employing 15,000 IT professionals, the opportunity for the document outsourcing business is enormous.”
