Penguin is back with its ten-day literature fest, Spring Fever

Penguin Books is back with the fourth edition of its literature festival. Called Spring Fever, the ten-day gala began on March 15 and is on till March 24 at the India Habitat Centre, New Delhi. Besides an open-air library showcasing Penguin?s range of books, other highlights include book reading sessions, conversations and discussions by renowned authors and personalities, and musical performances.

The line-up of speakers this year include authors such as Vikram Seth, Ramachandra Guha, Mira Nair, Gulzar, Shobhaa De, Sudha Murthy, Ruskin Bond, Prakash Iyer, Ankit Fadia, Amit Mehra, chef Vikas Khanna, restaurateur Monish Gujral, Durjoy Datta and Nikita Singh.

On March 18, visitors can catch Ruskin Bond and Sudha Murty in conversation on ?Friends in Small Places?; Amit Mehra will be interacting with Raghu Rai on his new book Kashmir on March 20, and Monish Gujral of Moti Mahal will detail the fine art of making the perfect kebab on March 22.

Through Spring Fever?the previous editions of which, according to the publisher, witnessed a footfall of more than 30,000 each year?Penguin wishes to celebrate ?the power of stories, the joy of reading and the incredible world of words?.

Like previous editions, the festival this year, too, is open to all.
