Fujifilm has announced its new Finepix HS20 EXR camera with technologically advanced EXR CMOS sensor that combines the best of both the worlds of imaging technologies (EXR and CMOS), claiming picture quality to be as good as a digital single-lens reflex (DSLR).

Record-breaking, innovative, versatile; the new Fujifilm FinePix HS20 is all this and so much more. Replacing the multiple award-winning FinePix HS10, this latest addition to the range of Fujifilm bridge cameras represents the perfect picture taking solution for photographers who want the specification and picture quality of an SLR without the heavy camera bag and huge dent in their bank balance. With a class-leading feature set that includes a brand new EXR CMOS sensor, high speed continuous shooting capability, improved user interface, versatile video functions, 30x zoom lens and a 16 megapixel resolution, the HS20 sets new standards in bridge camera functionality and performance.

The camera features a 16 megapixel Back-lit EXR CMOS sensor, for high speed shooting, and full HD video recording, as well as a massive 30x optical zoom lens, going from the equivalent of 24 mm to 720 mm telephoto. On the back is a large 3.0-inch LCD monitor, with swivel screen, and a high resolution of 460k dots, there?s also an electronic viewfinder with diopter adjustment.

With its extreme wide angle 24-720 mm zoom lens and super zoom, wildlife photographers won?t have to carry multiple lenses. It also packs in features such as Super Intelligent Flash, Advanced Anti-Blur, Best Frame Capture Mode and easy sharing and easy upload of photos or videos.

To summarise, the newly launched FinePix HS20 EXR is one such product that is a confluence of superior technology and stylish good looks. The price will be announced soon.
