To celebrate five years of Stylefile, a venture of Preeti Goenka and Sumedha Saraogi, the organisers are holding a Night Bazaar of art, fashion and fashion accessories on December 7 from 5 pm to 12 midnight.
“We are holding the exhibition at the Old Bungalow in Alipore to create a special ambience under the moon,” said Goenka.
Announcing the exhibition, Goenka and Saraogi said artists like Paresh Maity, Shuvaprasanna, Shrabani Roy and Arzan Khambatta would be part of the show. Among the designers on the roster are Sabyasachi Mukherjee, Anamika Khanna, Varun Bahl, who is working on furnishings for the first time, Kiran Uttam Ghosh and Samant Chauhan, who wowed audiences at the Lakme Fashion Week. There will be jewellery by Rahul Jain, Falguni Mehta and Suhani Pittie and lifestyle products from Kokommo, Bea Creations and Fusion Glass.
“Over the years we have tried to provide a platform for fashion designers,” said Goenka. “We would also like to take Stylefile to other cities like Delhi and Hyderabad,” she added.
