SSC CHSL result 2016: The Staff Selection Commission will declare the results of Combined Higher Secondary Level (10+2) Tier II Examination 2016 on October 18 at ssc.nic.in. The commission has preponed the examination result date to almost a week, as earlier it said that the results will be announced on October 26, according to Indian Express report. Candidates who appeared in the exam can check their results after the links are activated.
The SSC CHSL Tier II exam is a descriptive pattern paper. The examination was held on July 9, 2017 at various test centers across the nation. Every year, the commission conducts to CHSL exam to fill vacancies in various government departments. This time it released over 5000 posts notification, as per IE report. The commission said, a total of 30,57,993 candidates appeared for SSC CHSL 2016 preliminary or Tier I exam of which only 53201 candidates qualified for the Tier II level.
Here are the steps to check SSC CHSL Tier II result 2016:
1. Visit the official website- ssc.nic.in.
2. Click on link “SSC CHSL Tier II result…”, after it is activated.
3. Now Enter your details like roll number, date of birth etc.
4 Then click on submit.
5. Your results will be displayed on the screen.
6. Download and take a print out for future reference.
As per the previous year cut off, a general category candidate had to score minimum 119 marks and the cut-off for OBC, SC, ST, OBC, and Ex-Servicemen category stood at 110, 99, 89.50 and 45.50 respectively, as per IE report.

3. Data Entry Operator : Pay Band-1 (Rs. 5200-20200) + Grade Pay Rs. 1900 (pre-revised).
4. Lower Division Clerk: Pay Band -1 (Rs. 5200-20200) + Grade Pay Rs. 1900 (pre-revised).
5. Court Clerk: Pay Band -1 (Rs. 5200-20200) + Grade Pay Rs. 1900 (pre-revised).
