On Monday, Morgan Stanley announced the launch of its private wealth management (PWM) business in India, to offer wealthy individuals and families’ access to world-class investment products and services.
Leslie S Menkes, managing director with Morgan Stanley, Asia, said that the private wealth management business would commence its operations from Tuesday, at its offices located at New Delhi, Kolkata, Bangalore and Mumbai.
Menkes has added that the new business in India has been set up to meet the needs of wealthy individuals and families. “While the current plan is to focus on these four regions, we aim to spread out the business to other parts of the country,? said Himanshu Bhagat, executive director, Morgan Stanley India.
