IL&FS Milestone Fund, a JV between Milestone Capital Advisors and IL&FS, is looking to raise an overseas fund worth Rs 1,800 crore. IL&FS Milestone Fund already has two domestic funds with a total corpus of Rs 1,000 crore. ?We are in the process of raising fund for our investments in grade A commercial properties or IT parks,? said Ashish Joshi, managing partner, real estate, Milestone Capital Advisors. The fund is looking at buying properties in Mumbai, Pune, Hyderabad and Bangalore. Most of this would be IT parks. ?We are bullish in this segment and looking at various markets. We are in talks to buy an IT park. If the deal gets through, we will fund it partly via our domestic funds and partly through funds raised overseas,” Joshi said.
