Premium apparel brands from Manish Malhotra, Biba, Rohit Bal, and bridal lehengas, anarkalis, sarees and blouses have been hot favourites with customers over the last one month of the ongoing festival on e-commerce platform owing to a string of festivals ? Ganesh Chaturthi, Onam, Dusshehra and now Diwali.

According to the trends observed over the past month on Junglee.com, a leading product search and comparison shopping site, the festive season has seen a steep increase in shopping of luxury and festive wear with premium apparel brands and jewellery products witnessing a growth of almost 100% in searches, across all sub-categories and brands.

Top of the line Anarkalis from brands like Fabdeal, Biba, Prafful, Anahi, Karigari, Rangriti were also trending for women’s premium fashion wear this season, Junglee.com said.

​To go with the luxury dressing, the next big trend was traditional jewellery in Polki, Meenakari, Kundan, Pearls and even antique gold finish. The most searched among jewellery items was mangalsutra, most likely due to the karva chauth festival before Diwali, and then the wedding season that follows soon after. The top trending brands were Voylla, Spargz and Sukkhi jewellery.

In keeping with the style of the season, watches too were amongst the most searched items, especially the luxury brands. An increasing number of people searched for top end brands like Rado, Armani, Gucci, and Tag Heuer, the search site said.

To go with the ethnic festive look for the season, more buyers also searched for the Titan Raga festive collection, with watches in gold and silver plating and inlay, matching with the traditional jewellery.
