Casio India, a 100% subsidiary of Casio Computer Co. Ltd. Japan has launched World?s first 4 of its newest keyboards SA 46, SA 47, SA 76 & SA 77 with Indian Tones & Rhythms in mini-keyboard** segment.
The new models are upgraded models of previously available keyboards with newer designs and more features. Ideally suited for early starters in music it comes with 4 Indian tones [Harmonium, Santoor, Sitar, Shenai], 5 Indian rhythms, 10 song bank [which contains 1 Indian song as well] and 5 musical pads with 2 Indian percussions of Tabla.
Moreover these keyboards have enhanced sound quality with 8 note polyphony while the earlier models sported only 4. Also, it comes with 50 rhythms as compared to 30 in the previous generation.
All the models come with one button touch tone selection for Piano and Organ instruments. However, in SA 47 & SA 77 additionally Harmonium tone can be selected along with Piano & Organ by touch of a button.
Kids who are new to musical lessons would find the melody on / off function very useful as it helps set your own rhythm at your own pace.
Most of the Keyboards available in the market are developed as per western taste.. However, Indian children learn music using Indian rhythms and songs. Hence, Casio have specially customised these mini keyboards by incorporating Indian music tastes in mind.
