After strengthening their base in the US, the company is looking at English speaking regions in the Europe and also Africa. The recent acquisition by the company was quite large, but in the future, they might go for larger deals.
?We are planning to make acquisitions which could be larger than the PeopleSupport deal,? commented Aparup Sengupta, CEO, Aegis. ?Cash is not a constraint for us,? added Sengupta.
After strengthening their base in the US, Aegis is all set to gain a strong foothold in the European market. They are also planning to expand in East Africa where they already have a centre.
?Currently, we are focusing on the English-speaking regions of Europe as a potential market. We are also planning to expand in East Africa,? said Sengupta. The company is eyeing acquisitions in these regions.
The company is planning to make at least one acquisition every quarter. ?Our plan is to acquire at least one company every quarter as part of our organic and inorganic growth,? commented Sengupta.
The company also considers China and Japan as potential markets, but they are not focusing on the region at present as they are currently focusing on ramping up businesses in the US, Europe and Africa.
