Yashasvi Jaiswal, a left-handed opening batsman hailing from Uttar Pradesh, India, was born on December 28, 2001. He is known for his fearless attitude and consistency. He made his international debut in a Test match against the West Indies in July 2023, with a century in his first innings. Since then, Jaiswal has kept his place as one of the key players in India’s Test setup and has scored 1,798 runs from 19 matches at an average of 52.88 with four centuries and a double century. His T20I debut came in August 2023 against the West Indies, displaying his skills with aggressive batting. He has scored 723 runs in 23 T20Is at a strike rate of 164.31, including one hundred. His ODI debut was in February 2025 against England.
