The 2023 Rajasthan Assembly elections are scheduled to be held in or before November to elect all 200 members of the state’s Legislative Assembly.
The tenure of the Rajasthan Legislative Assembly is scheduled to end on January 14, 2024. The previous assembly elections were held in December 2018 in a single phase. After the election, the Congress formed the state government with Ashok Gehlot becoming the Chief Minister and Sachin Pilot becoming the Deputy Chief Minister.
While the Congress party will make every effort to retain control of the state, the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) is anticipated to put up a fierce and closely contested battle.
