Pat Cummins
Pat Cummins, one of the premier fast bowlers in world cricket, made his international debut for Australia in 2011 at just 18 years old. Known for his raw pace, bounce, and accuracy, Cummins quickly made a name for himself in Test and limited-overs cricket. Despite early career injuries, he returned stronger to become Australia’s spearhead in all formats and took the Aussies to winning the ODI World Cup in 2023. In the Indian Premier League (IPL), Cummins has been a high-impact player.In the 2024 IPL auction, Cummins was acquired by Sunrisers Hyderabad for a record-breaking ₹20.5 crore, making him the most expensive player in IPL history at the time. After debuting in 2014, his IPL career gained momentum when Kolkata Knight Riders signed him for a record price in 2020. Known for his ability to bowl at express pace and contribute with the bat in lower-order cameos, Cummins has played key roles for his team in pressure situations.
